As of late 2004 I'm a widower, wife died of ovarian cancer within the same year my mother died of pancreatic cancer. So I'm struggling now with a new business that I bought, Woods Feed & Supply. I'm also a caregiver to my widowed father who has myaestinia gravis (an ailment that makes motility difficult)
The feed store is at the same property where I board my Appaloosa horse, a mare named Jane. She fulfills the spiritual needs I have in keeping in tune with nature. The business keeps me in shape lifting 50 lbs. sacks of feed for customers all day and occassional bales of alfalfa and hay. It is hard work, especially in the humid hot climate here but the payoff will come in the end. It keeps my mind free of past hardships. I also sell a number of holistic natural dog and cat foods which sales have been rising due to the recent recalls; none of our products have been recalled ever. In addition we sell natural products from goats milk like soaps and creams all pure and with essential oils and fragrances, to cage free fresh eggs and local honey. I've just aquired this business and so I hope to provide a larger market base than what exists presently, which is word of mouth.
Obviously we can't internet sell sacks of feed to individual customers but the pet foods or the pure soaps and lotions have a possibility as well as horse tack, saddles and similar items.
