- Youth Communication (www.newexpression.org. I'm President of the Board. Youth Communication is the publisher of the newspaper and website New Expression which is a Chicago teen news source that's written by teens, for teens and about teens.
- The YMCA Alliance (www.traininginc.org) of the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. I'm Board Treasurer. The Y-Alliance is the welfare-to-work, jobs training and literacy branch of the YMCA of Metro Chicago.
- Child Serv (www.childserv.org); founded in 1894 ChildServ is runs orphanages group homes, and provides adoption and other family services in Chicagoland.
- Urban Gateways (www.urbangateways.org), which is an arts education organization for kids in the Chicago area. I'm on the Junior Board.
